In the movie The Croods, this movie is different from mostly all of other Disney Movies. This movie is different because it has a little twist to it, instead of it being a pretty princess, or wealthy family, this family is cavemen. They are a family that has to stick together in order for them to survive. The purpose of this is to entertain the audience but also teach a lesson. In the movie the speaker appeals to emotion. The speaker appeals to logic because of how the family acts dad wasn't going to be able to go with his family. The speaker tries to appeal to logic because of how the family reacts to different obstacles that occurred. In the movie the speaker appeal to emotion because when the daughter Eep left the cave at night time which her dad thought that they should not do that because of safety. When he woke up during the night to check on the family and make sure that everybody was safe, he noticed that the daughter was gone. He went out to find her. His tone was cautious and caring. It was cautious because there could have been some type of animal out there waiting on him but he had to also be caring to make sure that his daughter was okay. The speaker also grabs the audience attention in the movie when the family is trying to go to the sun, but they think that it promises you tomorrow. The dad wont be able to go with them because he has to literally throw the family over there so that they can live, and there is nobody to throw him. This appealed to the audience emotion because they could have been sad because they didn't think that the dad would be able to go or happy that they cared about each other. The way that the speaker appeals to logic about how they react to different obstacles, is because like in the movie an obstacle that they had was when they got separated in this little maze type of thing. Some people might have thought that the dad would not be able to get out of his maze because he didn't communicate with the family like the rest of them did. The purpose of the movie was to entertain the audience.
